Festival photo La Gacilly – Brittany
Founded in 2003 in Morbihan by Jacques Rocher, La Gacilly Photo Festival is an outdoor photography festival which takes place from early June to late September in one of the most beautiful villages in Britanny. Each year is dedicated to a specific theme related to the environment and to the discovery of a country (Italy, Japan, etc.) or a geographical area (Eastern countries, South America, etc.). Over the years, visited by more than 300,000 visitors each summer and highly respected by the professionnal world, it has become the largest outdoor photography festival in Europe. For the past three years, the festival has expanded and is now offering an edition in Austria, La Gacilly-Baden Festival.
Michel Bouvet has been creating the posters since 2015.
Fondé en 2003 dans le Morbihan par Jacques Rocher, le Festival La Gacilly Photo est un festival de photographie en plein air qui se déroule de début juin à fin septembre dans un des plus jolis villages de Bretagne. Chaque année est consacrée à une thématique particulière liée à l’environnement ainsi qu’à la découverte des photographies d’un pays (Italie, Japon…) ou d’une zone géographique plus large (Pays de l’Est, Amérique latine…). Au fil des années, fréquenté par plus de 300 000 visiteurs chaque été et très respecté par le monde professionnel, il est devenu le plus grand festival de photographie en plein air d’Europe. Depuis trois ans, le festival La Gacilly-Baden, en Autriche, reprend la programmation de l’année précédente à la Gacilly. Michel Bouvet réalise les affiches depuis 2015.
